The first wing is complete, minus the covering, now time to start on the second.  Today is Tuesday June 6, 2000 and when I arrived at Mike's, the second wing is ready to be riveted.  However, Mike wants to spray the wing with an anti-corrosive element that will last for years.  This picture is the wing with all of the hardware removed: MVC-264F.JPG (193710 bytes)  Now, with the gussets, braces, etc laying on a flat surface, Mike begins to spray them: MVC-263F.jpg (185324 bytes)  Here is a closer view: MVC-267F.jpg (146130 bytes)  And here you can see a rib after it has been drilled and sprayed beside one that has not: MVC-273F.JPG (103414 bytes)  Next we will drill the holes in the ribs and the wings will be finished except for the covering and painting which we will do all at the same time.  Now we wait for the fuselage to arrive...
